The Estate

In the 1960s, property developer Charles Tiffen asked architect and artist Jacques Couëlle to design an unusual, fully integrated project for the land he had just acquired. Couëlle's ambitious and original project gave birth to Port La Galère.

The project began in 1968, and soon afterwards relations between Charles Tiffen and Jacques Couëlle deteriorated, so that the rest of the building program was entrusted to architect Léopold Vitorge with the help of Antti Lovag, while retaining the Couëlle spirit. Antti Lovag is no stranger to the terrain, having designed the Maison bulles (Bernard Foundation) and Pierre Cardin's famous Palais-Bulles.

From the outset, the program was a success, attracting the world's greats to invest in second homes (Serge Dassault, Pierre Cardin...).

You'll enjoy the pools with their pool-house, you'll find yourself alone in one of the creeks with crystal-clear waters where the Mediterranean flora and fauna are preserved, or at the edge of a wild beach fitted out for your comfort and all this while contemplating the panoramic view of the Big Blue, the Bay of Cannes and the Lérins Islands.

Numerous activities are on offer, including water sports, tennis, jeu de boules, children's games, disco, restaurants, mini-market,....
The harbor, with 140 berths ranging from 6m to 20m, offers a made-to-measure service to yachtsmen.
Port La Galère is also a protected residence, guarded day and night.

Port La Galère is the ideal base from which to take advantage of the region's many activities: hiking in the Estérel massif, cycling along the Corniche d'Or, scuba diving, nearby golf courses and the Mercantour ski resorts (Isola, Auron, Valberg, Allos...).
